Light is a fundamental element in the creation of atmosphere within a space. In this experiment of light, we created a simple box with an upward-facing aperture at the end of a long tunnel. This terminates in a mirror angled towards the sky, periscoping the viewer into seeing outside the box. By spilling the box with a complimentary light, a juxtaposition between the enclosed room and the open sky is produced in an austere but hopeful manner.
