Inspired by the calm and grandeur nature of living in forested mountainous regions, Edge House brings a new definition to modern mountain homes. With a singular goal of maximizing views, a glass cube statues itself upon the edge of a tall cliff and is the center of monumental 360° views.
The home is elevated from the ground by a steel cube structure and covered with an aged bronze facade. This supports the base of the four-story living space and is offset from its edges providing a sensation that the home is hovering within the center of the larger bronze structure.
A single elevator and staircase form the core of the house with a grand three-story living room providing a central stage for the surrounding views. Bedrooms and other living spaces loft the space while still having total access to the surrounding views.
The primary bedroom and office spread the entire top floor with the most expansive views of the site imaginable. An open bath and closet wrap around the perimeter, taking complete advantage of each side of the house.
